IAA TRANSPORTATION 2026 took place in Hannover, Germany, from September 15 to 20, bringing together commercial vehicle manufacturers, component suppliers, and companies across the transportation value chain.
At the exhibition, Landworld Technology presented its OBC, DC/DC, and integrated product portfolio for electric commercial vehicles. The display focused on modular EV on-board charging system solutions, including 44kW and 22kW on-board chargers, a 6kW DC/DC converter, and an 11kW OBC + 3kW DC/DC 2-in-1 product.
For electric commercial vehicles, charging power has a direct impact on charging schedules and vehicle availability. The 44kW and 22kW OBCs provide different on-board AC charging options for various vehicle platforms and operating requirements.
As commercial vehicle platforms move toward higher system voltages, the voltage compatibility of the on-board charger becomes an important part of vehicle integration. Landworld currently offers products that can support high-voltage platforms up to 1000V.
Discussions around the 44kW and 22kW OBCs focused on practical vehicle requirements, including battery voltage ranges, AC input conditions, vehicle communication, and interface integration.
Electric commercial vehicles are incorporating a growing number of controllers, thermal management components, and other low-voltage loads. This places higher requirements on the power capacity, stability, and system compatibility of the vehicle’s 24V power supply.
Landworld’s 6kW modular DC/DC converter is designed for 24V low-voltage systems. Its modular configuration supports vehicle architectures requiring a higher level of integration and allows the DC/DC function to be coordinated with other on-board power components.
In addition to the modular version, Landworld also provides standalone DC/DC converter solutions for platforms requiring independent installation. This configuration is particularly suitable for battery-swapping heavy-duty trucks, construction machinery, and selected vehicle conversion projects.
Commercial vehicle platforms vary considerably in vehicle architecture, installation space, and interface requirements. On-board charging and low-voltage power components must therefore meet their electrical functions while fitting within the available vehicle layout.
The 11kW OBC + 3kW DC/DC 2-in-1 product displayed at IAA TRANSPORTATION integrates on-board AC charging and low-voltage power supply functions into one unit. Featuring liquid cooling and a compact design, it reduces the number of separate components, external connections, and installation space compared with independently installed OBC and DC/DC units.
The integrated design provides greater flexibility for vehicle packaging and system integration across different electric commercial vehicle platforms.
The products on display provided a starting point for more detailed discussions about vehicle platforms and project requirements.
Throughout IAA TRANSPORTATION 2026, the Landworld team met with customers and industry partners to discuss product selection, vehicle integration, and application-specific requirements. These conversations offered further insight into how charging power, low-voltage loads, system architecture, and installation conditions vary between commercial vehicle platforms.
The exhibition also provided an opportunity to present Landworld’s product development in high-voltage OBC, 24V DC/DC, and integrated on-board power solutions while opening the door to further project discussions.
Landworld Technology will continue to expand its product portfolio and support adaptation across different electric vehicle platforms, providing stable and reliable modular EV on-board charging system solutions for customers worldwide.
